The Kuwaiti cabinet declared the period from April 21st to April 25th to be paid leaves for the public sector in celebration of Eid El-Fitr, the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) reported on Monday.
The decision covers employees and workers in ministries, government authorities and public sector companies.

Work will be resumed on Wednesday, April 26th.
Private sector agencies will decide their Eid holiday taking into account the public interest.
Eid Al Fitr, which marks the end of the month-long dawn-to-sunset fasting of the Holy Month of Ramadan, is expected to fall on Friday, April 21st.
