In a significant operation, Kuwait's Ministry of Interior (MoI) successfully intercepted the smuggling of 100 kilograms of hashish, brought into the country via sea routes.

The estimated value of the seized hashish is approximately KD 250,000.

The Drug Control General Department, under MoI, apprehended a national involved in the trafficking of the illegal substance. 

Highlighting its commitment to combatting drug-related crimes, MoI emphasized its ongoing efforts to safeguard society from such hazardous activities.

The ministry urged citizens to cooperate with law enforcement authorities and report any suspicious activities by contacting the emergency hotline at (112) or the dedicated hotline at 1884141.
