The Central Bank of Kuwait has announced that April 18, 2025, is the last day to exchange the fifth issue banknotes for the newer sixth issue.

In a statement on its official "X" platform account, the Central Bank emphasized that after this date, holders of the fifth issue banknotes will no longer be able to exchange them for the current currency.
