The Ministry of Interior in Kuwait has declared a compulsory three-month period, beginning in March, for all Kuwaiti citizens and expatriates to complete biometric fingerprinting procedures. Non-compliance with this directive will lead to suspending all transactions within the country.

Implementation Details

The General Administration of Security Relations and Media has outlined the comprehensive execution plan for biometric fingerprinting. The Ministry of Interior is actively conducting these procedures for citizens, GCC citizens, and expatriates across various border checkpoints, Kuwait International Airport, and designated centers.

Accessible Centers for Biometric Fingerprinting

Upon arrival at specified centers and commercial complexes, individuals can conveniently undergo biometric fingerprinting. These include Hawalli Security Directorate, Farwaniya Security Directorate, Al-Ahmadi Security Directorate, Mubarak Al-Kabeer Security Directorate, and Al-Jahra Security Directorate (for citizens and GCC citizens). For expatriates, fingerprinting services are available at the Personal Identification Department in Ali Sabah Al-Salem and Jahra areas, as well as at various malls and the Ministries Complex.

Travel Guidelines

It's important to note that travelers departing from Kuwait are exempt from immediate fingerprinting requirements, as the procedure will be conducted upon their return to the country.
