In adherence to Article 57 of Kuwait's constitution mandating the formation of a new Cabinet at the outset of each legislative term of the National Assembly, His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Dr. Mohammad Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah tendered the resignation of the Cabinet to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
The decision followed the Cabinet's approval of a bill urging the National Assembly to convene its first regular session for the 18th legislative term on Wednesday, April 17th, subsequently referred to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
In parallel, His Highness the Amir Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah conveyed congratulatory messages to the victors of the 2024 National Assembly elections. Expressing sincere felicitations, His Highness extended best wishes to the elected parliamentarians for their upcoming endeavors, emphasizing their vital role in advancing Kuwait's progress and prosperity.
Additionally, he commended the judiciary commission for its oversight of the electoral process, acknowledging the electorate's active participation and its testament to the nation's democratic principles.
