New visa orders are announced by Deputy Prime Minister, Interior Minister, and Acting Defense Minister Sheikh Talal Al-Khaled Al-Sabah to issue a new type of visa that will guarantee its holder entrance to Kuwait to practice sports, cultural, and social activities.
The holder can issue the visa through an application either from sports clubs or cultural and social clubs in Kuwait. The visa will be valid for 3 months of stay with a possibility of extension to a maximum of one year. On Saturday, the Kuwaiti authorities urged the European states to ease the process of granting Schengen visas to Kuwaiti citizens.
The call was made by Foreign Minister Sheikh Salem Al-Abdullah Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, who received at a luncheon, held upon instructions of HH the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Al-Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, European ambassadors, heads of diplomatic missions and charge d’affaires serving in Kuwait.
During the luncheon held at the ceremonies, diwan at the foreign ministry headquarters, the minister called upon the diplomats to help Kuwaiti nationals who are applying for Schengen visas, facing challenges by facilitating the visa procedures, setting more dates, and fastening up paperwork.
