Kuwait Municipality warns citizens and residents of heavy fines for littering public spaces.
The municipality recently shared a message on its X page in which it called on the public to adhere to Article (5) of the Waste Management and Public Cleanliness Regulations.

The public is prohibited from littering sidewalks, public roads, and other public spaces. The public is also prohibited from emptying personal waste bins in public spaces.
Waste must be disposed of in designated waste bins or designated areas.
Anyone who violates these regulations will be subject to heavy fines, the municipality has announced.
