Kuwait's Civil Service Commission (CSC) has implemented new regulations regarding expatriate employees' end-of-service benefits in Kuwait.
The New Regulations for Expat Employees' End-of-Service Benefits
To receive end-of-service benefits, expat employees have to have the following documents:
- A copy of the end-of-service gratuity form issued by the integrated systems
- A clearance issued by the Ministry of Interior's Judgements Enforcement Department for the case required to pay end-of-service benefits.
- A clearance issued by the Ministry of Electricity, Water, and Communications.
- A copy of the contract for which the expat employer is seeking disbursement
- A copy of the decision for separation from service
The CSC explained that they attached the expat employee's statement of career on the integrated systems of the civil service system.
This statement details the employee's career progression, the monthly bonuses and salary increments that he or she was granted throughout the service, and all financial and functional data.
