Kuwait's Ministry of Interior has extended the deadline for citizens and residents to undergo biometric fingerprinting. The decision, announced today, follows directives from Sheikh Fahd Al-Yousef Al-Sabah, the First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, and Minister of Interior.
Reasons for Extension
The extension aims to streamline processes and ensure efficient completion of tasks within the security apparatus. Citizens now have until September 30, 2024, and residents until December 30, 2024, to complete biometric fingerprinting.
New Grace Period
Biometric fingerprinting services will be available at the General Department of Criminal Evidence within the Personal Investigation Departments.
