Kuwait is turning up the heat on safety with a new outdoor work ban! From June 1 to August 31, outdoor labor is banned from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm to protect workers from the scorching summer sun.

Under the slogan “Their Safety Is More Important,” the Public Authority for Manpower (PAM) is making sure workers stay safe and cool. Acting Director General Marzouq Al-Otaibi emphasized that PAM will conduct surprise inspections to enforce the ban and penalize violators.

This smart move aims to shield laborers from extreme heat without cutting down work hours—just smartly rearranging them. It’s a win-win, ensuring safety and keeping projects on track.

Kuwait’s dedication to international work standards shines through this initiative, which has already received positive feedback from companies and contractors. Stay cool, Kuwait!
