The Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior has deported about 11,000 violators of the residency law from January 1st until April 28th.

This number includes men and women of different nationalities who were found to be residing in the country without proper documentation.
This step comes within the framework of amending the demographics, and identifying and prosecuting law violators, as well as those who provide shelter to them, security sources told Al-Rai Arabic newspaper.
The authorities will refer offenders to the relevant authorities for appropriate action.
Earlier, the First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Interior and Acting Minister of Defense, Sheikh Talal Al-Khaled, and Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, Anwar Al-Barjas, instructed the security forces to intensify campaigns across Kuwait to maintain law and order.
