Kuwait Confirms Eid Al Fitr 2025 Holiday Dates
The Council of Ministers of Kuwait held its weekly meeting today, Thursday, chaired by Acting Prime Minister Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah. During the session, the Council approved the holiday schedule for Eid Al Fitr 2025, which will affect all ministries, government agencies, public bodies, and institutions.
Eid Al Fitr 2025 Holiday Dates
If Eid Al Fitr falls on Sunday, March 30, 2025, there will be a three-day holiday. Official work will resume on Wednesday, April 2, 2025. However, if Eid is confirmed to begin on Monday, March 31, 2025, the holiday will extend to five days. The break will start on Sunday, March 30, 2025, with four consecutive days off, including Monday through Thursday. Work will then resume on Sunday, April 6, 2025.
Special Arrangements for Essential Services
For institutions with essential services or a unique work nature, the holiday schedule will be determined by the relevant authorities to ensure that public services continue uninterrupted and that the public interest is maintained.
