The Public Authority of Manpower (PAM) announced that labourers will not have to work in open areas from June 1st until August 31st.

The prohibition is implemented annually during the summer season because of the high temperature and humidity during the day.

The Authority also mentioned that labourers will be prohibited from working from 11:00 a.m. in the morning until 4:00 p.m. in the afternoon.

The prohibition is implemented to avoid the harmful effects of heat and humidity during the day such as sunstroke, headaches, fainting, and others.

PAM has urged people to immediately report any violations taking place against the regulation and to take legal action against violators.
