Kuwait Bans Expatriate Celebratory Marches

Kuwait has announced a ban on celebratory marches organized by expatriates, with the Ministry of Interior warning of serious legal consequences.

Kuwait's Ministry of Interior has issued a strict warning against the organization of any celebratory marches by expatriate residents. The ban, which covers all types of gatherings, comes with the possibility of severe penalties, including deportation for expatriates caught participating in unauthorized events.  

Traffic, Public Order, and Safety Concerns  

The ministry highlighted that such marches often lead to traffic disruptions and public disorder. These activities, even if intended for celebration, can also threaten public morals and safety, which authorities aim to prevent.  

Public Cooperation Requested  

Authorities are urging residents to respect the country’s laws and cooperate with security forces to ensure order. The ministry expressed confidence that the public will work together to maintain safety and stability within the nation.
