The GCC ministers have decided that Kuwait and the UAE will connect their systems for traffic violations.

On Tuesday, Kuwait's Interior Minister confirmed that Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates have agreed to link their systems for managing traffic violations, in accordance with a decision made at a meeting of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) ministers.

According to Traffic Affairs assistant undersecretary Major General Jamal Al-Sayegh, the process of consolidating security infractions between the two nations is underway. The Major General has confirmed that the first step towards achieving this goal will soon be taken and that it is just the beginning of a series of measures that will be implemented to unify all security violations between the two countries.

After discussions between the Kuwaiti official and Major General Khalifa Harib, the undersecretary of the UAE's Interior Ministry who was visiting Kuwait, an announcement was issued.
