There are extensive continuing preparations for the Katara International Hunting and Falcons Exhibition (S'hail). The dates are September 5 to September 10.

Tents have already been erected at Al Hikam Square at the Cultural Village Foundation, Katara next to the Drama Theatre, or close to Building 16. The event doesn't start for another month. Workers are completing the flooring where the six-day exhibition will be taking place in a video that S'hail uploaded on its official Facebook page.

The exhibition hall will be separated into various zones over the next weeks, with shops offering falcons, hunting gear, hunting rifles, hunting vehicle outfitting, and outdoor sports supplies. Along with advanced technical tools required to support the sport of hunting, there are also falconry demonstrations and displays.

The sixth version of the expo will feature the best falcons, hunting, and falconry gear available worldwide. It is one of the biggest of its type and strives to promote hunting as a pastime as well as Qatar's rich Arab history. Along with exploring products and services, it also aims to strengthen collaborative partnerships between falcon owners and traders both locally and worldwide.

Last year, 250 companies representing 19 nations participated in the fifth edition. The United Kingdom, the United States of America, Albania, Russia, Poland, Pakistan, South Africa, New Zealand, and other Gulf nations are among those who took part.

The S'hail committee has also previously announced that it will provide participating businesses the chance to set up an "online pavilion" on its mobile application where they may showcase a variety of goods. Visitors to the exhibition can also take advantage of exclusive accommodation deals by scanning the QR code on S'hail's social media profiles.

H.E. Dr. Khalid bin Ibrahim Al-Sulaiti, General Manager of the Cultural Village Foundation-Katara, commented on the exhibit and described Katara's support of customary festivals and activities. He emphasized the importance of such initiatives in strengthening Qataris' ties to their environment and cultural heritage and in imparting genuine cultural values and traditions to the next generation of young Qataris.

The Cultural Village Foundation-Katara works diligently to illuminate Qatar's uniqueness through its festivals, contests, and events, Katara's Chief continued. By emphasizing and displaying Qatar's distinctive features to a non-Qatari audience, both inside and outside of Qatar, it also paints a vivid picture of Qatar's heritage.

Soon, the S'hail website and mobile application will offer tickets for the exhibition.

S'hail, under Katara, a platform known for hunting and falconry in the country, was established in 2017. It aims to protect and spread knowledge of Qatar's rich cultural history through arranging top-notch exhibitions, enormous events and activities, awareness campaigns, and financial support for educational and environmental initiatives on a national and worldwide level.
