180 companies from 20 countries participate in Katara International Hunting and Falconry Exhibition S’hail 2022
The activities of the sixth edition of Katara International Hunting and Falconry Exhibition "Suhail 2022", organized by the Cultural Village Foundation "Katara", were launched on Monday, September 5, with the wide local, regional, and international participation of 180 companies specialized in hunting weapons, hunting supplies, falcons and sniping trips representing 20 countries from different world continents.
A number of ministries, authorities and official bodies in the country are also participating in the exhibition, which continues until September 10, and record its prominent presence through its great facilities and distinguished and quality services.
The exhibition has established its distinguished global position and has become a destination for lovers of falconry, hunting, and heritage from various countries in the region and the world, dedicating its role as a very important platform to show the latest types of weapons, hunting rifles, equipment, supplies, and equipment for trips, in addition to showing a huge selection of rare falcons of high quality and skill in hunting.
The sixth edition is characterized by an increase in the area of 20% over last year, to accommodate the increasing numbers and the wide participation of the most famous companies specializing in the field of hunting, falcons, and camping from Qatar, the Gulf region, and the world under one roof.
This edition attracts many international companies, which constitute 45% of the number of participating parties in the exhibition, led by Gulf companies from Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and the UAE, in addition to distinguished participation from a number of American and European companies.
The Suhail Exhibition, which celebrates pioneers of falconry and hunting enthusiasts, is divided into five areas: the main tent that occupies Al Hekma Square, in which the supplies and equipment of hunting trips, and traditional industries and handicrafts related to hunting, in addition to the Suhail auction, a hall for weapons companies, and the third hall. It is dedicated to bird farms and companies preparing four-wheel drive vehicles for trips, while the outer area displays the most luxurious types of mobile caravans that are used in trips and camps, and the fifth hall, which is located on the southern side of Katara, is designated to receive weapons, hunting rifles and ammunition, in order to avoid crowding and facilitate the public to complete all procedures required.
The exhibition is accompanied by a series of various cultural and artistic activities that are awaited by lovers of culture and heritage, such as the live painting event, in which about 12 male and female artists from citizens and residents will participate, who will draw directly in front of the public paintings inspired by the atmosphere of the exhibition, In addition to poetry evenings, and specialized scientific lectures that provide an opportunity for falconers, interested parties and visitors to learn about the various experiences and expertise in the field of falcon breeding.
It is noteworthy that the sixth edition of the Katara International Hunting and Falconry Exhibition will be held in partnership with a selection of national sponsoring companies, including the Social and Sports Activities Support Fund as a strategic partner for the exhibition, in addition to media partners such as Al Kass TV, Qatar TV, Al Rayyan TV, and Sawt Al Khaleej Radio.
