Jeddah Central Development Company has announced the start of its construction works to create a vibrant global destination in the heart of Jeddah using innovative technologies based on renewable energy.
Jeddah Central Development explained that its new project will be developed in 3 main phases, including a waterfront with a water strip of 9.5 km in length, a marina for yachts with international standards, and a sandy beach with a length of 2.1 km.
Jeddah Central Development also indicated that the project will include 4 main landmarks; a museum, an opera house, a sports stadium, coral farms, as well as agricultural basins. It also includes the construction of 10 recreational and tourist areas, as well as 17,000 housing units for citizens, with tourist resorts and hotels with more than 3,000 rooms.
This came within the framework of making Jeddah a tourist city that attracts tourists from all over the world and contributes to the prosperity and growth of the Saudi economy.
