India Wins First Match Against Australia in Test Series

India won the first test match against Australia by 295 runs in Perth, Australia on Monday, Nov. 25. The Indian team leads by 1-0 in the test series.
The host team was chasing 534 runs, but they were only able to secure 238 runs on Day 4, despite Travis Head's 89 runs and Mitchell Marsh’s 47.
Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj, and Washington Sundar secured three wickets each with Harish Rana taking the final wicket.
Not only did these bowlers performance help the Indian team win, but Yashasvi Jaiswal’s 161 runs and Virat Kohli’s 100 runs also helped India win the match.
The second test match will begin on Friday, Dec. 6.
