The six-team Asia Cup will begin on August 27, 2022, at Dubai International Stadium. In their opening match of the 2022 T20 Asia Cup, Team India will face archrivals Pakistan. Tickets for the highly anticipated game will also go on sale today. The match is scheduled to take place on Sunday, August 28.
Asia Cricket Council tweeted regarding the same, sharing the schedule of the T20 Asia cup and a link to book the tickets.

T20 Asia Cup was originally scheduled to be in Sri Lanka, however, due to the political situation, the location was changed to UAE. “Considering the prevailing situation in Sri Lanka, the ACC after extensive deliberation has unanimously concluded that it would be appropriate to relocate the tournament from Sri Lanka to UAE,” ACC had said in a statement.
