The last ten days of the Holy Month of Ramadan, called the last Ashra, are considered the most precious time of worship for Muslims throughout the entire year. According to Islamic theology, Muslims have the chance to multiply their good deeds during the final ten days of Ramadan in the effort to please Allah (SWT). Not to mention that Laylatul Qadr, believed to be the most divine night of the year, also falls on one of the last ten days.
Why are the last ten days of Ramadan important for Muslims?
The last ten nights or days of Ramadan are hugely significant. Not only are good deeds multiplied during this time, but Laylatul Qadr, also known as the Night of Decree or the Night of Power, always falls during the last third of Ramadan. Laylat ul Qadr was the night where Prophet Muhammad PBUH received the Holy Qur'an.

Muslims make an effort to avoid worldly concerns and spend more time in devotion during this time. Any good deed done on the last ten nights of Ramadan is rewarded as if it had been carried out consistently for a thousand months.
When is Laylatul Qadr?
Although the exact day of Laylatul Qadr is never known, it is believed to take place on an odd-numbered date during the final ten days of Ramadan: the 21st, 23rd, 25th, 27, or 29th night.
"Seek it in the last ten days, on the odd nights," told the Prophet Muhammad PBUH. (Bukhari).

What acts of worship are carried out during the last ten days of Ramadan?
On these nights, beneficial acts of worship include sincerely asking for forgiveness, reading the Quran, sending Salawat (blessings upon the Prophet), giving more charity, and offering optional (nafl) prayers.
