Kuwait's Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs announced that Hajj pilgrims are exempted from booking prior appointments for taking biometric fingerprints.

If the applicant is registered as a Hajj pilgrim through the Sahel app, the individual does not have to have a prior booking to register their biometric fingerprints.

The ministry implemented this regulation to ensure that Hajj pilgrims get their biometric fingerprints registered before travelling for the pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia and to avoid missing the deadline for it.

The designated centers to register biometric fingerprints for Hajj pilgrims are:

  • West Mishref
  • Farwaniya Governate
  • Jahra
  • Al Ahmadi Governate
  • Mubarak Al Kabeer
  • Commercial Complexes

All these centers are open until 8:00 p.m. daily, so if you're a Hajj pilgrim, register your biometric fingerprints before travelling for the pilgrimage.
