The slaughterhouses in Abu Dhabi have completed their preparations to work at full capacity, to receive the sacrifice requests, whether by direct dealing with the sacrificers, or requests through smart applications, immediately after the end of the Eid prayer, provided that work continues until seven in the evening.
The Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority warned the slaughterhouses against indiscriminate slaughter outside the slaughterhouse, by roaming and unaccredited butchers, stressing that “this phenomenon may lead to the spread of many diseases, transmitted through meat, especially since slaughtering outside the slaughterhouse deprives the sacrifice of veterinary examination that determines its suitability for human consumption.”
The Abu Dhabi Municipality stated that the slaughterhouses available to the public will start working immediately after the end of the Eid prayer, until seven in the evening, pointing to taking the required preventive, precautionary, and health measures inside the slaughterhouses, and tightening the super veterinary control, with the aim of making the beneficiaries of slaughterhouse services happy.
