Firework Displays Paint the Joy of Eid al-Fitr at Katara
The Cultural Village "Katara" witnessed the influx of large numbers of visitors from citizens and residents of different nationalities to keep pace with the various paragraphs of the festive program prepared by the Cultural Village General Organization (Katara) on Eid al-Fitr, and it will continue for four days.
Eid events at Katara include a set of distinctive activities that provide entertainment and entertainment and spread an atmosphere of joy and happiness among the attendees.
From the waterfront and throughout the Cultural Village, Katara visitors followed a group of special performances presented by popular groups from Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Morocco, and Egypt, which began at five in the evening with a special show of the Egyptian Golden Eagle. The band, followed by the Qatari women’s popular group Al-Nahda (which presents two shows around five thirty in the evening and the second show around eight thirty), then the Syrian Afrah Al-Sham troupe, then the Moroccan (Wlad Al-Mizan) troupe and the Saudi Al-Mizmar troupe.
The audience interacted with the various performances presented, during which they discovered the cultures of the various peoples, as each band reflected the culture of its country, whether in music, songs, or dress.
On the other hand, Katara brought joy and happiness to its visitors, young children, by distributing Eid gifts in the form of gifts suitable for all ages.
As for the fireworks display, which was presented by Katara at around eight o'clock, it was limited to the evening of the first day of Eid only, where fireworks decorated the Katara sky in various forms spreading joy and dazzle among the attendees, who were keen to watch and document them by photographing what they saw on their mobile phones.
On the other hand, the Thuraya Planetarium in Katara in Building 41 presents a series of entertaining and educational films throughout the days of Eid al-Fitr, with three shows per day.
Among the shows that the audience watches, are the “Stars” show at five in the evening, the “Polars” show with 3D technology at six in the evening, the “Zola” show at seven in the evening, in addition to the “Astronaut” show in three-dimensional technology at five in the evening, and the “Zola” show at seven o’clock in the evening. "The Perfect Little Planet" at six in the evening, and the show "The Universe" at seven in the evening. The "Eight Planets on the Milky Way" will be shown at six o'clock in the evening, which will be presented throughout Eid.
Katara Beach also receives its visitors from Gate No. 3 from nine in the morning until 11 in the evening. And at Gate No. 4 and 5 from 2 pm to 11 pm, knowing that marine and swimming activities stop with sunset.
It is worth noting that fans of theatrical performances will be on a date with the play (Halalhm Dalalhm), which will be presented at the Drama Theater from May 10 to 14.
