Fashion and Musical Spectacle to Take Place at World Cup Stadium
In order to provide additional details about the fashion spectacular, Sheikha Al Mayassa and Vladimir Restoin Roitfeld, CEO of CR Runway, will host a press conference in Paris.
Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad Al Thani announced on Saturday that the important fashion spectacle will take place on December 16 at the World Cup venue, Stadium 974.
The event, branded Qatar Fashion United by CR Runway, will feature over 100 labels from all five continents, including both well-known legacy houses and up-and-coming designers, as well as performances by well-known artists from around the world.
The Chairperson of Qatar Museums tweeted, "Delighted to inform that 'Qatar Fashion United by CR Runway' will take place on December 16 at Stadium 974, between the semifinal and final matches of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
The 40,000-seat Stadium 974 will host the event, which was conceptualized by Sheikha Al Mayass and curated by Roitfeld. Proceeds from the event will benefit Education Above All, a non-profit group founded by Sheikha Moza bint Nasser Al-Misnad and Sheikha Mayassa that provides opportunities to underprivileged children and youth.
This year's festival has 15 Qatar Creates lounges, 10 notable events, 5 creative hubs, and 17 exhibitions dispersed over 5 unique museums. Additionally, there will probably be more than 80 public art initiatives in Qatar.
The significant event, which will take place in December in between the FIFA World Cup semifinal and championship games, will be coordinated by fashion mogul and stylist Carine Roitfeld, who launched CR Runway.
The inaugural CR Runway event was staged in June 2019 outside of Florence, Italy, to mark LuisaViaRoma's 20th anniversary.

A crowd of roughly 4,000 people watched the 100-look fashion show that featured a Lenny Kravitz concert, the biggest models in the industry right now, and couture bridal gowns from the House of Christian Lacroix.

Launched in 2019, Qatar Creates is an annual festival of art, fashion, design, culture, and architecture. The initiative, which presents week-long community activities, was launched in conjunction with the opening of the National Museum of Qatar.
Sheikha Al Mayassa declared last month that Qatar Creates events, which had previously only been held sporadically in order to support local culture and the arts, would now be regular campaigns.
The Qatar Museums chairman unveiled the plans at M7 in Msheireb as Qatar gets ready to host the much-awaited 2022 World Cup in November.
