Kuwaiti student Fajer Al-Saheli clinched a bronze medal at the Fourth Arab Mathematics Olympiad 2024, held in Doha, Qatar.
This event, organized by Qatar’s Ministry of Education in partnership with ALECSO and the Qatar National Commission for Education, Culture, and Science, saw strong competition from students across the Arab world.
Shaikha Al-Hajraf, head of the Kuwaiti delegation and first technical mentor at the Ministry of Education, celebrated Al-Saheli’s impressive achievement, noting that the students’ rigorous training program since the start of the school year paid off.
In addition to Al-Saheli’s success, Kuwaiti students Marwa Al-Azmi and Sarah Al-Humaidi were recognized with certificates for best performance during the closing ceremony.
The Olympiad, which began on Sunday, November 10, wrapped up on November 14, highlighting the region’s brightest young mathematicians and fostering a spirit of academic excellence.
