The 26th Arab Gulf Cup will start on Saturday, Dec. 21 at the Jaber Al Ahmad International Stadium in Kuwait City. 

The Arab Gulf Cup Football Federation organizes the tournament, which features its eight member nations: Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Iraq, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman and Yemen.

In addition to the Jaber Al Ahmad Stadium, the tournament's matches will take place at the Sulaibikhat Stadium in Sulaibikhat.

The tournament will run until Jan. 3, 2024; The semi-finals will take place on Tuesday, Dec. 31 and the final will take place three days later. Here are the fixtures:

Dec. 21: Kuwait v Oman 

Dec. 21: UAE v Qatar 

Dec. 24: Oman v Qatar 

Dec. 24: Kuwait v UAE

Dec. 22: Iraq v Yemen

The Past Winners

Iraq are the defending champions who hosted and won the 2023 tournament, which was a significant moment for the team as they were hosting a major football tournament for the first time in almost 44 years. They defeated Oman in the finals in Basra with a score of 3-2.
