Enrique Considers the Draw with Germany a Shameful Outcome
Spain coach, Luis Enrique, said that his team will not underestimate Japan, and will play to win, despite the "Matador" currently leading the fifth group of the World Cup, after a 1-1 draw with Germany.
"The feeling in the dressing room was strange, especially since we had the opportunity to beat Germany and let them slip away," Enrique told a press conference. "It was a shame."
He continued, "We will use our full strength and strive to win to secure the top of the group standings."
And he continued: "Germany should focus on Costa Rica first because we are in the World Cup, and each competitor has his own level."
He concluded, "We will deal with the situation naturally, if we want to play seven matches until the final, we need to do our best."
