Some astronomical events that can be observed and enjoyed in Kuwaiti skies are anticipated this August, according to the Al-Ujairi Scientific Centre.

On August 10th, the planet Mercury will appear at its farthest distance from the sun in the evening, and this will be followed by showers of meteors known as the “Pershawis” on August 12th and 13th.

The center added that on August 27th, the ringed planet Saturn will appear on the other side of the earth to the sun, and it can be seen from sunset to sunrise.
