His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai instructed the Ministry of Interior to dispatch emergency teams to support rescue operations in areas hit by torrential rain and floods.
Various teams headed especially to Fujairah and the eastern regions which are experiencing floods.

Sheikh Mohammed also directed the Ministry of Community Development to move families affected by rains and floods in the eastern region to makeshift shelters.
Nearby hotels will be reserved for affected families and those living in high-risk areas.

Dubai's Crown Prince, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has directed Dubai Police emergency teams to support rescue operations in Fujairah and the country's eastern areas.
