In the municipality of Al-Shihaniyah, the Doha Film Institute (DFI) has announced the debut of a new presentation of "Cinema under the Stars". During Ramadan, the audience will be scheduled to participate in a variety of unique performances, delicacies, and light suhoor. The iconic historical film "The Message," which will be screened at 9 p.m. today, will kick things off.
In 1976, the film The Message - Its Original Title - (Muhammad is Allah's Messenger) was released. Mustafa Al-Aqqad directed and produced this massive theatrical Islamic historical masterpiece. He relates the Prophet's narrative through the eyes of his uncle Hamza bin Abdul-Muttalib and Zaid bin Haritha, his adoptive son. The film was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Soundtrack.
"Cinema Under the Stars" is an opportunity to see movies in a uniquely open environment filled with fresh air, providing an excellent alternative to the usual cinematic ambiance in enclosed venues. Haina Salama is an effort aimed to foster holistic agricultural, engineering, and community development initiatives. Suhoor contains a wide range of regional and local meals from the Mediterranean and Arab Mashreq regions, all created with organic farm goods, unique spices, and hand-picked herbs.
