The Ministry of Interior is urging all citizens and residents to complete their biometric fingerprint registration before the upcoming deadlines. Citizens are required to register by September 30, while expatriates have until December 31 to complete the process.
Consequences of Non-Compliance
Major Shaheen Al-Gharib from the Security Media Department highlighted the importance of meeting these deadlines in a statement to Al-Akhbar Channel. He warned that failure to comply will result in the suspension of transactions at the Ministry of Interior and other related government agencies.
Availability of Registration Centers
To facilitate the process, biometric fingerprint centers have been set up in all governorates and complexes. So far, more than 2.5 million individuals, including citizens, residents, and Gulf citizens, have completed their registration.
