According to Al-Ujairi Kuwait Canara Welfare Scientific Center, the current unstable weather in the country is caused by the transition and overlap of seasons. As the seasons change, it results in strong winds, thunderstorms, and hail.
The current weather phenomenon called 'Sabq Al-Sarayat' and 'AI-Sarayat' is due to the overlap of the 'Al-Hamim' season ending on April 2 and the 'Thar'aan' season.
As per the Al-Ujairi Kuwait Canara Welfare Scientific Center, the present weather patterns are in continuous change because of the overlapping of seasons. During the 'Thar'aan' season, which is marked by Sarayat, the sun heats the ground directly rather than the air, leading to a surge in air currents and unpredictable weather conditions.
The Al-Ujairi Kuwait Canara Welfare Scientific Center has explained that during the 'Thar'aan' season, hot air replaces cold air resulting in dusty conditions. This season is also characterized by continuous changes in wind speed and direction, which makes it challenging to forecast the weather.
Additionally, significant fluctuations in temperature are typical during this season. The center has warned that unstable weather conditions due to the 'Thar'aan' season can be expected throughout the latter half of Ramadan.
