Bollywood star Salman Khan and producer Sajid Nadiadwala announced the long-awaited sequel to the 2014 blockbuster film 'Kick' on Friday, Oct. 4.

Nadiawala announced the news on his social media, saying "It was a great Kick 2 photo shoot Sikandar….!!!"

The duo are currently working on the upcoming film 'Sikandar'. The prequel for 'Kick 2' marked Nadiawala's directional debut and became a blockbuster hit and Khan's first film to enter the Rs. 200 crore-club.
The film featured Khan with Jacqueline Fernandez, Randeep Hooda, and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in lead roles and was an official remake of a 2009 Telugu film of the same name.
Other than Khan, the rest of the cast for 'Kick 2' has not been revealed, but will be revealed soon.
