In a T20 International matchup at the Brisbane Cricket Ground, Australia edged out Pakistan in a rain-shortened match on Thursday, Nov. 14.

Australia came to bat first and scored 93 runs in seven overs with four out. Glen Maxwell secured 43 runs in 19 balls for his team.

When Pakistan came to bat, they were only able to score 64 runs as Australia's Nathan Ellis and Josh Bartlett took three wickets each.

Pakistan's defeat comes after they won the three-match one-day international series 2-1 against Australia this month under new captain Mohammad Rizwan.

The next match in the T20 international series will be at the Sydney Cricket Stadium on Saturday, Nov. 16.
