Arabian Gulf Street to be Partly Closed for Fireworks on February 28

The street will be partially closed because of the fireworks at the Kuwait Towers on Tuesday.

The Ministry of Interior (MOI) said that Arabian Gulf Street will be partly closed on February 28th for the Kuwait National Day's fireworks from 5:30 p.m. till the end of the event. 

The event will be held at Kuwait Towers and it will begin at 8 p.m. Arabian Gulf Street will be closed from its intersection with Khaled Al Marzouq Road (second ring road) till British Embassy (Jassim Al Bahar street). 

For National Day, the General Traffic Department has arranged busses from public squares and parking lots for vehicles at Hawally Park, Sharq Market, opposite Sharq Police Station, parking areas of institutes of Hawally Governorate, Yacht Club on Gulf Street, parking areas of restaurants, and parking areas for special needs at Lawyers Association.

MOI has requested everyone to cooperate with traffic and security personnel to maintain road safety during the event and citizens and residents can contact 112 for any security, traffic, or humanitarian assistance.
