Last month, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum announced the opening of Expo City Dubai, the old project built on the site of Expo 2020 Dubai, with a grand reopening on October 1, however, visitors can preview it sooner, On 1 September. Here are the highlights of the returning pavilions, opening hours, and ticket prices.
Returning Pavilions at Expo City Dubai
The Alif Pavilion, known as the Mobility Pavilion, which features the largest passenger elevator in the world, is scheduled to return, to continue its journey of exchanging ideas and knowledge at Expo City Dubai. Terra - the Sustainability Pavilion will also return, in addition to the famous Garden in the Sky as well as Al Wasl Plaza, the Women’s Pavilion, and the Vision Pavilion. Expo City Dubai will also host the Expo School program where students can participate in a range of educational experiences and interactive workshops.
Expo City Dubai Working Hours
- Alif Pavilion & Terra Pavilion: from 10 AM to 6 PM
- Garden in the Sky: from 3 PM to 6 PM
*Please note that the timings will be extended from 10 AM to 6 AM as of September 16th when the weather in Dubai will be cooler.
Expo City Dubai Tickets Prices
Entry tickets to pavilions are AED 50 per person, excluding Garden in the Sky, AED 30 per person, and children under the age of 12 can enter for free.
Tickets can be purchased online at expocitydubai.com or at the counter at Expo City Dubai from 1 September 2022.
