Al Meera Company Participated in the World Food Safety Day
Al Meera Consumer Goods Company participated in the celebration of World Food Safety Day 2022 in order to highlight its tireless efforts to establish a commitment to the highest food safety standards, which was organized by the Ministry of Municipality and Environment under the slogan “Safer Food for Better Health” in Al Khor Park on June 9.
During this event, Al Meera set up a special pavilion in Al Khor Park, which included serving some healthy foods and snacks to visitors and participants to add more fun to the events.
The World Food Safety Day is celebrated on June 7 of each year, with the aim of highlighting the importance of maintaining food safety, detecting risks transmitted through food and the best ways to manage it optimally, and promoting possible solutions to achieve further progress in enhancing food security and improving health Human, Economic Prosperity, Agriculture and Sustainable Development.

It is worth noting that the United Nations General Assembly established World Food Safety Day in 2018 to raise awareness of this important issue.
