Eid in Qatar is full of enjoyable things for people of all ages. If you're not sure where to begin, we've got you prepared with a list of all the locations you may go to.

  • Eid Festival

The Eid Festival, which takes place on the Corniche from 3-5 May, is one of the most exciting events to attend during Eid.

The Eid Festival includes a variety of exciting activities and displays for both people of all ages, such as the town's first-ever large balloon parade, daily fireworks, and marching bands.

  • Heenat Salma Farm

Heenat Salma Farm is the ideal destination for those wishing to get away from the city before the weather becomes too hot.

The farm, which encourages communal living and eco-consciousness and is situated in Al Shahaniya, 40 minutes from Doha, combines learning and fun for guests, through its on-site programs.

People can learn about the farm's crops while refreshing their hands and souls in Mother Nature, as well as partake in a unique culinary experience with organic products cultivated on the farm. Guests can also take part in activities related to the center's well-being programs.

Traditional tents encircling a central hearth are available for those willing to remain a little longer at the farm and not travel back to Doha.

  • Banana Island

The crescent-shaped island is located off the coast of Doha and is accessible via a 25-minute boat ride from the city's Al Shyoukh Terminal.

There are 141 sea view rooms, suites, beach, and overwater pool villas to choose from on the island. It also features the only wellness center in an island resort setting in the Middle East.

  • Desert Falls

The warm weather in Qatar begs for a splash in the pool, which is even more enjoyable at the Hilton Salwa Beach Resort's Desert Falls.

Desert Falls is one of the Middle East's largest theme parks, with 18 attractions and 56 coasters and slides, some of which are still not ready for tourists.

A children's pool, as well as a massive funnel, inner pool tube slides, and the park's iconic King Cobra ride for an adrenaline thrill, are accessible for young guests.

  • Purple Island

Despite all of Qatar's new attractions, Purple Island remains a popular destination.

A day trip to the place is ideal for those interested in minor sports activities such as kayaking through the mangroves or hiking while taking in the scenery.

It's also known as Bin Ghannam Island, and it is home to a variety of plants and birds that aren't seen in Doha.

  • Baladna Park

It's a wonderful idea to spend a day at the park!

It's even better if the family can enjoy a petting zoo and a look at the cow milking process, which is responsible for the dairy products sold in shops around the country.

Bumper boats, bungee trampolines, and pedal racing are among the activities available to children at a greenhouse where they may learn how to cultivate various seeds.

  • Al Khor Zoo

The Al Khor Zoo, a 35-minute drive from Doha, is another open-to-the-public animal park.

Visitors can witness mammals, marine species, and nocturnal animals in the zoo, which includes around 315 animals, 49 different bird species, and 290 different crocodile species.

It is one of the region's oldest wildlife habitats, with a total size of 240,000 square meters.

A museum, a waterfall, a skating rink, a basketball court, and a separate play area for children are among the other entertainment options available.

  • Installment of art

As a country with a burgeoning art scene, the National Museum of Qatar's (NMoQ) installation "Your Brain to Me, My Brain to You" is a must-see for a last-minute adventure.

The installation, designed by globally known Swiss artist Pipilotti Rist, uses 12,000 soft LED lights suspended on cables in a dark space across the gallery to create a peaceful ambiance.

The Swiss artist wanted to give tourists a holistic experience and a glimpse into the human brain's intricacy.

The public can view the exhibition at the NMoQ through December 20th.
