Over 250 well-wishers, including VIP guests, family members, professors, and friends, attended ACS Doha International School's seventh graduation ceremony recently.

Keynote speaker Melkart Rouhana, chief engagement officer of MRT consultants and a world-renowned culture, leadership, and service specialist, was among the dignitaries in attendance, as were numerous significant corporate partners of ACS Doha International School.

A total of 42 students earned their high school diploma, with several of them also earning the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program, an internationally recognized pre-university certification. Several members of the graduating class have been accepted to major overseas universities.

"Having been a part of many of these students' lives at ACS Doha for the past seven years, it's sad to see them collect their degrees and begin the next chapter of their life." While we shall regret seeing them at a place where many of them have called home for several years, we are certain that we have prepared them academically and holistically for what lies ahead," said Robert Cody, head of ACS International School Doha.

Award recipients were among those who received diplomas, and their excellent efforts were recognized.

Apart from Valedictorian Esme Moon Fairbrother and Salutatorian Haneul Choi, who were honored for their outstanding academic achievements, the ACS Founders' Award Nada Alaeddine, a Community Service Award Sultan Al Mannai, a Class Historian Award Rayan Nasrallah, and a Community Service Award Sultan Al Mannai recognized the outstanding contributions made by ACS Doha's students across various spheres of achievement.

The impact that academic pathways had on future chances for the graduating class was evident in early admissions to high-ranking universities.

After completing their IBPD programs in medicine, several alumni will continue on to universities such as the University of California, Berkley, University of Ottawa, Pen State University, and New Castle University Medicine Malaysia.

Students who took the Career-related Programme (CP) and Advanced Placement (AP) courses were able to gain admission to universities such as Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) and New York School of Interior Design, while others landed jobs in the hospitality industry at the well-known Les Roches University in Switzerland.

Students at ACS Doha can currently pursue globally recognized and rigorous programs such as the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma and Career-related Programme (CP); Advanced Placement (AP) courses, a US program that provides high school students with college-level curricula and exams; and the US High School Diploma.
