Five cafés in the Al-Ardiya industrial area were shut down for breaking health standards and regulations by the Kuwait Municipality's emergency team through cooperation with the Farwaniya Governorate Security Directorate.

In a news statement, the Director of the Emergency Team, Ahmad Al-Manfouhi, explained that the cafés and restaurants in the neighborhood were shut down after the team undertook thorough inspection operations there and discovered a number of violations of health standards and laws.
The emergency team, he continued, would keep up its initiatives to make sure that all business operations adhered to health standards and laws.
Al-Manfouhi emphasized the municipality's commitment to ensuring public safety and health while urging all owners of commercial enterprises to stick to the health standards and laws to avoid legal accountability and fines.
